Ruyvaran: Iran influenced UNSC
A session titled as “Sixth session of Political and International Affairs Commission of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People” in the meeting hall of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People.”

According to Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a session titled as “Sixth session of Political and International Affairs Commission of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People” in the meeting hall of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People.”

Following to the meeting, Dr. Hussein Ruyvaran the head of Political and International Affairs Commission of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People evaluated the advantages and disadvantages to the national interests of Iranian nation since the revolution and said: “Revolution naturally brings deep changes to a country’s fundamental basis in the country’s administration, this session is set to study and discuss the definitions of advantage and disadvantages in national interests.”

He continued: “National interest itself is divided into many classes, national security is not something that can be defined by words, but Americans after the two world wars experience defined it as Essentials, which guaranty the existence of a government.”

He mentioned to basic changes since the revolution: “The most important change from the revolution is that Islam became the country’s legislation.”

He referred to Iran’s stance in international arena before the revolution and said: “Iran’s international stance before the revolution was somehow similar to today’s Saudi Arabia.”

He continued: “Iran was a loyal friend to western societies and they regarded Iran as a major arms client, they wanted oil funds to go back to them, through selling arm to Iran. Iran was also a friend of Israel, Iran funded large amounts of investments for delivering oil and gas to Israel, the relationship between the regimes was a major reason that Iranians upraised against the regime of Shah.”

He referred to cold war era and said: “Iran was compulsory to advance against any pro-eastern movement that fulfilled interests of soviets in the region, and in some cases the regime’s military forces had to follow orders to interact with military task force.”

He continued: “Whatever role which was given to Iran before the revolution was actually opposed to Iran to determine western society’s interests.”

He compared Iran’s past to the present of Saudi Arabia and said: “After Iran’s Islamic revolution, west lost such a regional ally and Saudi Arabia is now playing this role for west, no doubt they will face the fate of saddam Hussain.”

He added: “Iran was at that time the largest producer of oil, but the West expected Iran to return its oil revenues by arms. At that time, Iran was an alliance with Israel. Even Iran provided the needs of allies. An example of this was the pipeline between the port of Eilat and Ashkelon, which the Shah generated for more than one and a half billion dollars in this port to say that it exported oil, while at that time, one and a half billion dollars was a heavy charge And the ruling regime spent it on Israel. Even the role of the Jundarm of the region given to Iran was in the framework of the Western perspective. At that time, US gaming was playing its role, for example, Saddam Hussein was executed after serving his role. The debate in Saudi Arabia is now the same, and when it's done, it's torn down and trash it out. It was not credible for this warded jandarmer in the area that Mohammed bin Salman, with all the good offices he made and $ 485 billion worth of contracts with the United States, is now faced with the pressure from the West and the United States in Khashaghaji's case. The Iranian system at that time is similar to that of Saudi Arabia."

Ruyvaran emphasized: “After the Islamic Revolution and the ruling of Islamic ideology, the ultimate goals of Iran were defined in three categories:

1. National

2. Islamic world

3. The oppressed

He explained: "Iran did a lot regarding these main three ultimate goals. In the national category, the first event of the war, Islamic ideology played a role in this war. The longest war in the Middle East was the Holy Defense. With this war, Iran could eliminate threats. But in the current situation, Israel is considered the most important enemy of Iran. It is true that Israel has a nuclear bomb, but Iran has the same level of atomic bombs that it can withstand the balance of power; it is the greatest power for a country that can balance its power. In the case of the United States, which is the second most serious threat to Iran, Iran, as an independent system, has been able to create a kind of deterrent against the United States and this is a great success in the area of national security. James Matiss, when he spoke about a military strike against Iran, said that the military strike against Iran is not on the agenda of the United States. Iran has the power that the United States cannot deal with not even in Yemen, Iraq and Syria."

He added: "In Islamic category goals, essentially, the revolution began from one point in Iran, but this circle went further until Syria, Lebanon and now Yemen ... In the past, there were no words of Yemen and Iraq, and now it has increased the development of this goal of power in Iran. In the third ultimate goal category, which is about the oppressed nations, there may be no convergence, but Iran, for example, has had a good relationship with Latin American countries. Islamic model is in progress, but in recent decades, socialism and patriotism have fallen in Arab regimes, but the Islamic model is still in the progressing, capitalism is facing difficult situations, the yellow vests in France talk about a social crisis in that country, In the UK, there is discussion of separating from the European Union, which shows that other models are facing failure, but the Islamic model is still moving forward despite all the pressure and sanctions."

He added: “The political system of Iran is less facing difficulties than other systems. Regarding the Khashoggi murder case, the West, who claims that they follow political and human rights, after the murder case scandal of Jamal Khashoggi, Trump officially says that he cannot cancel the billions of dollars of trade with Saudis. Meanwhile Theresa May at the same time obtained a bill to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia; Spain did not cancel its 70-million contract for selling point-to-point missiles to Saudi Arabia. The most notable of them was Germany, which suspended the military contract, and Canada suspended arms deal contract. This case well shows that when it comes to choose between interests and human rights, west truly chooses interests.”

Ruyvaran emphasized: “Same exists for foreign policy; there are structural factors that regulate relations of a country. The second issue is international politics and the international system. In the regime of the Shah, all public services were not accessible to people; level of Education in Iran now is a miracle; which was not available to public during Shah’s regime. Many more changes are tangible. Now, the political system is politically oriented to the orientation of No East, No West, and this issue has embedded in the world, and this belief has grown in other countries and societies. We may have lost relations with some states but we gained their nations. Trump said that he will obtain strategies to force Iran kneel and start discussions with me, but he failed so, this nation will not kneel and he will keep failing.”

He added: "Now the independence of Islamic Revolution has risen sharply, we were a buyer of the western arms at that time, but now we are arms producer and the dealer. Science Monitor Magazine writes that if Iran develops its missile capabilities further, then no nation in the world capable of fighting against Iran. The magazine has further announced that Iranian laser-arm has targeted an American military satellite some 30 kilometers outside the orbit. The Americans who basically violated resolution 2231 are using the same resolution calling for a condemnation of Iran. Similar situation of Iran is also happening in the region. In Syria all the investments of some Arab regime were gathered and more than one hundred thousands of Takfiri insurgents were deployed, but the resistance front succeeded failing the great conspiracy. The Palestinian issue is the same. They thought that after the Camp David agreement, the Palestinian issue is over, but they now admit that they have not been able to resolve the issue and that Palestinian resistance has become stronger and stronger. In the same situation the United States implemented to announce that the Deal of Century is in progress but no the US does not even dare to announce it. The deterrence created in Iran has now also been created in Lebanon, Syria and even recently in Gaza. Different countries believe in common issues. In Iraq, al-Hassan al-Sha'bi believes in accepted principles in Iran. In Yemeni war discussions ... What happened in Geneva? They wanted to recognize Ansarllah as a terrorist movement, but during the meeting, they legitimized Ansarllah and formally recognized the movement.

He concluded: “It is interesting that during these 40 years, the cost of maintaining independence has been much lower than costs of being dependent to world powers, for example Saudi Arabia, after a year and a half, Saudi Arabia is under pressure from the United States, despite signing up to $ 485 billion worth of contracts, and still the Congress condemns Mohammad Bin Salman responsible for murder of Jamal Khasshogi and call him a Murderer.”
