The Martyrdom of Imad Mughniyeh
He joined the military branch of the Palestine Liberation Movement in the early 1980s and has been as the member of the Amal movement since then.
With the transfer of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah from Amal, he joined the newly formed Hezbollah party. He was known as the shadow man and mastermind of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The US government had set a reward for receiving any information about him
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah considered Imad Mughniyeh as the thinker and inventor of military operations.
Haj Rezvan came to Iran to meet Imam Khomeini in 1982 but he was forced to return due to the Israeli invasion against Lebanon. Mustafa Chamran had such a major influence over him that he considered himself as Chamran’s student.
The design of all Hezbollah military operations was attributed to Imad Mughniyeh. According to the Zionist regime, Mughniyeh was accused of carrying out some operations, including the explosion of the US Navy headquarters in Beirut, the explosion of the French paratroopers’ headquarters in Beirut, the hijacking of the American “TWE” airplane and the double explosion of the US embassy in Beirut.
In a detailed article on January 30, 2015, the Washington Post reported that the operation was planned by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Israeli Foreign Intelligence Agency (Mossad). According to the report of the American newspaper, the bomb that killed the veteran Hezbollah commander was tested long ago in the CIA training field in North Carolina. The newspaper mentioned that the written order of this operation was issued by George W. Bush, the then President of the United States, which was approved by the Attorney General, the Director of National Intelligence and the US National Security Adviser.
